Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

1. Our commitment

UNO.com.my Sdn. Bhd. conducts business honestly and without corruption of any kind. We prohibit bribery in every form, whether offered, requested, given or received, directly or through a third party.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all directors, employees, contractors, agents and business partners acting for or on behalf of the company, in Malaysia and in every country where we deliver work.

3. Legal framework

We operate in accordance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009, including the corporate liability provision under Section 17A, and with the anti-corruption laws of the jurisdictions in which our clients operate.

4. What is prohibited

  • Offering, promising or giving anything of value to improperly influence a decision.
  • Requesting or accepting anything of value in exchange for preferential treatment.
  • Facilitation payments of any size, to any official, for any reason.
  • Using a third party, agent or intermediary to do what we may not do ourselves.

5. Gifts, entertainment and hospitality

Modest business hospitality is acceptable only where it is proportionate, transparent, properly recorded, and never offered while a tender or decision affecting the company is pending.

6. Donations and sponsorship

Political donations are not made by the company. Charitable donations and sponsorships require prior written approval and must not be used to obtain a business advantage.

7. Records and controls

All payments are recorded accurately in the company’s books. No account, fund or asset may be maintained for a purpose that is not fully and accurately documented.

8. Reporting a concern

Concerns can be raised in confidence with the management of UNO.com.my Sdn. Bhd. at info@uno.com.my or +603-6411 3298. Reports made in good faith are protected, and no one will suffer retaliation for raising a concern.

9. Consequences

Breach of this policy is a disciplinary matter and may result in termination of employment or of a contract, and in referral to the relevant authorities.

10. Review

This policy is reviewed annually and updated as legislation and our operations require.
